I got my website ...The host started paying me !!

Hi this is Varsha again....with another blog...Just wanted to share a sweet thing that happened to me few weeks back...

As a blogger and a internet fan I always had a fascination to have a website of my own...but was afraid of the BIG TERMS like
"WEBSITE HOST" , "DOMAIN NAME" "HTML" "JAVA scripts" and so on...These names kept me worried, and kept me away from my dream of having my own website.

In the begining of the last month I was cleaning up my mailbox...It was snowing outside and I was bored sitting at home...so started reading old 'forwarded mails'
. It was giving me the feeling of reading old news papers...After going through mails full of pics, jokes, birtday..christmas, diwali wishes...I reached to an unread mail which looked like a spam ( may be I never read it suspecting to be a spam). For having some timepass I opened it and it had a video link. Just for fun I clicked on the link and started the video.
A guy and a gal came out of an animation work and started talking about something called the "GLOBAL DOMAINS INTERNATIONAL". I layed back on my couch keeping the laptop on the floor looking for some potato chips to take a break.
My mind went back to the laptop when those terror words (WEBSITE HOST" , "DOMAIN NA..... etc) pinched my ears...My attention went back to the laptop screen and I started listening.

I learnt that Domain name is the name of the website I want to maintain and the web hosts are the organisations which provides the host name. Simple na !

I got interest and completed seeing the video and understood that to have a website I just need to decide my Domain name as my web host GDI was doing the rest for me...!!

Paying $10 I joined GDI and with in a day my website was live ( I created it myself with the catchy templates provided and the "drag and drop options") and now I was the PROWD OWNER of my self made website.

But that was not the end.... The real fun started after that... GDI started paying me... For what ? That is another story now !


Seeing my website my friends too wanted to have a website and joined GDI through me. I didnt knew GDI pays you when you refer someone. That not the end, It keeps paying you whenever someone joins through you or through your friend till the fifth generation of referrals. That was great...as the GDI fever started spreading like a viral fever and my referral commision kept increasing. Now its a secondary source of income without doing anything.The main thing which amazes me Now is that I am getting paid from GDI when someone in some corner of the world is joining the program.
Long live Internet and Long live "Global Domains International !!

I am now happily experimenting with new colours and pictures in my website, while GDI earns for my fantasies...I realised that Sometimes neglected things opens a good luck for you...You never know...
